Peer Pressure, Chapters 13-15 Summary

The second part of the book and Chapter 13 begin with Jenny Masterson listening to all the conversation at H.P's Café as the residents come out to breakfast in record numbers. Many are either talking about the missing Mikey or last night's sexual adventures. Molly comes in, hoping to cash her disability check. Theo talks Jenny into cashing the check, even though Molly has been banned from the café for life. As Molly leaves, she runs into Gabe and asks him a science question. Meanwhile, Theo approaches Val, trying to get more information about Bess Leander. Val refuses to talk about her, but Theo mentions that he caught Joseph having sex with a girl half his age the night before. Jenny overhears and cannot wait to hear Betsy's reaction.
