Summary

One day, after attending her mother’s funeral, Camilo’s mother returns home and greets Cosme in the process, which so angers Camilo that he whacks Cosme in the face with his cane. Camilo’s father makes fun of him when he faints afterward and needs to be taken to the hospital. Following this attack on Cosme, however, Camilo’s hatred toward him dissipates and instead turns into an enduring love. At around the same time, Camilo’s sexuality begins to develop, and he finds himself lusting after male cartoon characters and fantasizing about his male classmates. Camilo’s relationship with his queerness accelerates when Cosme walks in on him masturbating and does not raise any objection to it.
