Summary
In Chapter 29 Mrs. Rogers-Pena hands back the Macbeth papers. Lily receives a 99 along with some high praise, her teacher insists that she should keep the paper as a writing sample for college. Lily had not even considered the possibility of college until Dr. Brainguy had brought it up, but now it seemed like a possibility. Abelard and Lily had not texted since she told him she was moving to Portland, but that evening Lily receives a message from Abelard. He says things are going great, and that he has met a girl on his floor in residence "who reminds me of you" (248). Lily is completely thrown off from the comment, and her mind starts to run wild. Abelard suggests that the two switch the time they talk in the evening since there is a conflict with his schedule. But Lily was too...
