Summary

In Chapter 29 Mrs. Rogers-Pena hands back the Macbeth papers. Lily receives a 99 along with some high praise, her teacher insists that she should keep the paper as a writing sample for college. Lily had not even considered the possibility of college until Dr. Brainguy had brought it up, but now it seemed like a possibility. Abelard and Lily had not texted since she told him she was moving to Portland, but that evening Lily receives a message from Abelard. He says things are going great, and that he has met a girl on his floor in residence "who reminds me of you" (248). Lily is completely thrown off from the comment, and her mind starts to run wild.
