Summary
In “Chapter 28,” Sohail told his parents he wanted to marry Rukhsana. The two sets of parents set the wedding date for two weeks later and started planning. Shaila asked Rukhsana what her long-term plan was for Ariana, since their family would never accept her. Rukhsana realized she loved Ariana too much to make her suffer through the homophobia and hatred. She called Ariana and broke up with her.
In “Chapter 29,” Rukhsana regretted breaking up with Ariana and vowed to make it up to her in-person. Rukhsana went to eat with Sohail.
