Summary
In Chapter 96, Mal’akh crushed the CIA agent’s radio and cell phone before he picked up the pyramid and examined it briefly. He put the pyramid back in Langdon’s bag with a promise to himself to investigate it more thoroughly later. As he listened to the voices on the television recite the Lord’s Prayer he wondered if the people knew the basis for that prayer had come from pagan sources. He had learned through his study of the dark Arts that prayer was heard both by forces of good and also by forces of evil. He considered that he was counting on the forces of evil to grant him a great transference of power when he made his final sacrifice that night.
Mal’akh thought about how the human race had a great time of enlightenment in ancient Egypt. Eventually...
