Summary
In Chapter 53, Bellamy suggested to Langdon that the capstone of the pyramid had the information he would need to made sense of the letters from the base of the pyramid. However, Bellamy told Langdon that he believed it was their duty to keep the capstone and the pyramid from being reunited. Despite what he had learned so far of his lack of understanding about the pyramid, Langdon continued to question Bellamy about the power the mysteries protected by the pyramid held. Bellamy told him that even though he was educated, he had also learned a respect for the miraculous.
In Chapter 54, the guard checking out the report that the bay door for Pod 5 was open was snagged by Mal’akh. Mal’akh stunned him with a punch but the man was alert enough to see Mal’akh lighting fuel from a Bunsen burner...
