Summary
Chapter 6 begins in 1944 as Eleanor made her way to Scotland to visit the girls in training. She stayed out of sight, observing them as they went about their radio, weapons, and explosives training, wondering if they truly had what it takes to make it as agents. She then examined every girl’s file, looking for their strengths and weaknesses. Later that night, she received a phone call from The Director who asked if Josie was ready. Eleanor, unsure, replied that she would soon be, and The Director revealed that a new mission was ready and Josie would need to deploy immediately to blow up a bridge outside Paris.
