Summary

On the second day, during a downpour, the group set off for its second expedition. Alicia began to sink in a mud hole, weighed down by her snake gaiters, and had to be rescued by Woody. When they reached the altar stones, Elkins kneeled down to examine them. One stone had a quartz vein running through it, and Steve Elkins though it might be for channeling blood, but Fisher told them not to engage in too much speculation.
