Chapter 4: The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Rejection Letters Summary and Analysis

The entire chapter consists of his letters to editors trying to sell his writing and the rejection letters he received in response. Brian wrote macabre poetry and stories which he submitted to various editors and publishers. He had no luck in getting anything published but did subscribe to the "Night Terrors" magazine one of the magazines he had pitched his works to. He did seem to be gifted in writing, although the subject matter he was prone to write about would not appeal to a large audience.
