Summary

Chapter 28 changes to Adalyn's perspective. She is surprised that Cameron's attitude has changed dramatically when she returns to the kitchen. She quickly discovers he has seen the video. Cameron's first question is what her father did about this. Adalyn says he sent her here to protect his reputation and the soccer franchise. Cameron is furious that Andrew did not protect Adalyn instead. He says he would do anything to protect her, and would have never sent her away. Adalyn points out that Cameron pushed her away when she first arrived in Green Oak. Adalyn feels unprepared to deal with the high emotions of this situation.
