Summary

Chapter 8 is from Adalyn's perspective. She is upset to learn she no longer has access to the Flames' online system. She sits in the bleachers while the girls practice. Maria is confused when Adalyn knows her full name. This prompts a confusing conversation about Maria's playtime with someone named Brandy. Maria says the other girls are afraid of Adalyn but want to know if Adalyn is going to be the new coach. Maria constantly messes up Coach Cam's name, calling him Camelback and Chamomile.
