Section 6: Chapter 11 and 12 Summary
In Chapter 11: Michigan, June and July 1999, Mike sits in the back of the cop car for the first time, studying the handcuffs and wondering how hard it would be to open them. After processing him, they place him in a holding cell while they call Lito. Mike is eventually taken to an interview room to meet with his lawyer who wants to know who was with him and why he broke into the Marshes' home, but she agrees to talk to Mike the following day since he is unwilling to tell her anything for fear of getting Griffin in trouble. The next morning, they meet with the lawyer who tells them Brian is suspected to be one of Mike's accomplices, but Brian's father is a State Trooper who swears Brian was home all night, so no one is anxious...
