Vane

As the main setting, Vane is an island with a small town and a small population. A church, a cemetery, and several shops are in the village. The Sunderly family arrives by mail boat. There is an archaeological excavation site on the island. There are some specific sites, including the house the Sunderly family rents during their stay and the cave where Erasmus and Faith hid the Mendacity Tree.

Bull Cove

Bull Cove is the name of the estate the Sunderly family rents while they are in Vane. By Myrtle's standards, the house is inadequate. There is no gas power this far from the town.
