Section 5: Pages 102 - 126 Summary
Craig finishes restoring Queen's Lynn and hires Hans Groenewald to move in with his family as cattle overseer, leaving him to concentrate on the details of Zambezi Waters with Sally-Anne. Peter insists the third brigade troopers accompany them, and the first time Craig and Sally-Anne are alone, Comrade Lookout confronts them as to their intentions. Craig assures them that no harm will come to them, and makes a deal with them for protection of wildlife and tourists in return for one thousand dollars paid monthly. Craig hires an architect who works with Sally-Anne who takes her part in this seriously. She uses her connections to hire a Swiss trained chef and five safari guides with wildlife knowledge, and helps Craig to make a brochure that she sends to travel specialists around the world.
