Summary

At the start of Chapter 13, Daniel is in an economics course at Carlough College. He is hanging out with some of the same people he remembers from childhood. Kay is worried about her son, and Peter and Daniel watch old footage of a Jimi Hendrix performance. At the grocery store, Daniel runs into Cody Campbell, who works there as a cashier. Later, they smoke a bowl together and go meet friends for drinks. The friends mention that Daniel looks like ‘the Asian version of Cody” (252). Back at home, working on two essays for school, Daniel receives an email from Angel telling him to stop texting.
