Summary
Roland, Michael and Davidia get their Ugandan visas at the Entebbe airport with no trouble. They are staying at the Executive Suites on Lake Victoria. The next day Roland gets another phone, another Nokia. At dinner, Michael tells Roland that they’ll travel north to his village which in sight of Newada Mountain. He feels the spirits of his ancestors calling to him. Michael is a displaced Congolese. He’s bringing Davidia there to meet his parents. His biological parents are dead but everyone in the village is one family. If things feel right, he and Davidia will get married then and there.
Davidia and Roland are both in the dark about where the wedding will take place. Michael is being mysterious but tells them it’s in Uganda not Congo and that they’ll be taking the bus from Kampala to...
