Summary
It is eleven years since Roland Nair had been in Freetown airport in West Africa. He looks around for Michael. As he arrives on the ferry, he spots Horst. Roland checks into the Papa Leone, the only hotel that has a swimming pool and reliable electricity. At the hotel, he sees a pretty young girl across the way selling herself. Roland’s communications are cut off at the hotel – the Internet is down and he can’t get a new SIM card there. When Roland is at the pool he runs into Horst, a former undercover Interpol agent. Horst suspects that Michael is into diamond smuggling. Diamond smuggling is more lucrative than heroin smuggling but far riskier.
