Summary
Ballard thanked Towson for his help and asked him for a business card for her to share with another potential client. On her way out, she ran into Compton, who told her about a development in the Nettles case. Nettles’ gun had been used in the robbery of an armored car that left two guards dead, and Compton wanted to interview him to find out where he had gotten it. However, Ballard still had to have a psych exam later in the day to prove her fit for duty. Before the exam, she went to visit Ramona Ramone, who was in slightly better condition. She told her Trent was dead, and gave her Towson’s card, advising her to sue her assailant’s estate.
At the Behavioral Science Unit, Dr. Carmen Hinojos asked Ballard questions to asses her trauma following Trent’s death...
