Summary
When Ballard woke, she was naked and tightly tied to a chair in a dark basement room. She knew she must be in Trent’s upside-down house. Her mind raced, but then she heard Trent from behind her. He told Ballard he had drugged her with ketamine, and then left her van parked at a beach to make it seem she had drowned herself. He grabbed her breasts and commented on her tan before asking how she had gotten the key to his house he had found on her. She tried to lie, but Trent quickly realized that it must have been Beaupre.
