Summary
After her conversation with Carr, Ballard returned to the station and looked up the information for Beatrice Beaupre, Thomas Trent’s ex-wife. She headed out to Beaupre’s address in the Valley, and she arrived at the warehouse set of a porn shoot. There she found Beatrice, who was now going by Sadie and directing a BDSM video. She told Ballard that while Trent had not abused her, she had left him because of his disturbing fantasies of assaulting women, particularly light-skinned women of color. Before Ballard left, Beaupre slipped her the keys to Trent’s upside-down house. Ballard then headed over to check on Ramone, who had briefly slipped out of her coma while she was being transferred to a different hospital, and advised the nurses to watch out for Trent.
