Summary
In Chapter 10, Anders saw a video online shot near his home of a dark-skinned man shooting another dark-skinned man. Anders thought the men looked familiar, though he was not sure why. The rioting in town died down and people began to go out of their houses again. Anders stayed inside at his father's house. One day, Oona came over. When Anders' father saw them kissing, Anders noticed he looked uncomfortable. Oona's mother was disturbed that more people were turning dark-skinned. The people on the television shows that she watched had begun to change color. One night, Oona's mother heard a loud explosion and hoped that it was the sound of something the militants had done, but it was only thunder. She was distraught.
