Summary
Hannah reflects on whether she invaded Bailey’s space by moving too quickly into the home she shared with Owen for so long. As she is doing so, she finds a man sitting on the bench on their front porch, who introduces himself as Grady Bradford, a U.S. marshal who has questions about Owen and his whereabouts. He asks Hannah to walk with him and offers her a cup of coffee. Hannah tells him that she has not heard from Owen since he left for work the day before but does not tell him about the notes he left or the duffel bag of money. Grady suspects that she is not telling him the full truth and advises her to find a lawyer because she is in danger of losing Bailey. He leaves Hannah his phone number and tells her that...
