Chapters 19 and 20 Summary
Percy and his companions exit the elevator to a grisly scene. The city of Olympus lies in ruin, and they can hear Kronos yelling as he continues destroying buildings on his way to the throne room. A statue falls on Thalia, and Percy, Annabeth, and Grover must continue on their own.
Once they arrive in the throne room, Ethan Nakimura informs Kronos of their arrival. Kronos and Percy fight while Annabeth and Ethan fight. Grover plays is reed pipes and works his wild magic throughout the throne room. The battle takes Percy and Kronos too close to one of the thrones, which goes into defense mode and electrocutes Kronos. Percy tries to talk to Ethan, and eventually must get through to him, because Ethan charges Kronos while he is down. Ethan's sword shatters on Kronos's invincible body, and Kronos opens a...
