The Letters

The letters from Anthony to Jennifer are symbols of his love for her. The last letter from Anthony to Jennifer is a symbol of Anthony's continued love for Jennifer though he believes she rejected him. Laurence tells Jennifer that the man she loved died in the car wreck. Anthony's last letter comes several weeks after Jennifer's wreck which proves that Anthony did not die in a wreck.
