Summary

In Chapter 19, Ellie arrives at work, late and with her hair still wet from the shower. Melissa berates her, saying she gives her reporters some leeway for the time to start because of the nature of their work, but Ellie has been pushing that far beyond acceptable limits. She refuses to listen to excuses and demands an update on where Ellie is with the story. She says Ellie's performance has fallen and she does not care why, only that she corrects it. She excuses Ellie from the morning meeting. Ellie finds a note from Rory, addressed to Jayne Torvill, offering to meet for lunch.
