Summary

In Chapter 29, Petra orders Voxy to remain in the ship, saying Nyla will come for him. He is about to cry. He begs her not to leave him, saying he does not want to be like the members of the Collective. He wants Petra's attention and stories. Petra realizes that no one on the ship will show him the kindness as she does. She knows she can do nothing for Javier, but she can give Voxy a better childhood.
