Summary

In Chapter 13, Petra tries to act like Rubio and the little girl known as Zeta-4. (She later chooses Feathers for this girl's name.) One of the ghost-shrimp people is a little boy named Voxy who is curious about Petra's freckles. Nyla says he is not supposed to be there. She instructs Petra, Rubio, and Feathers to follow her. Petra is shocked to see that the entire park has been changed so that it is just white and glass walls, ceilings, and floors. Words like “harmony” and “unity” flash across the ceiling. All the Monitors look exactly like the Chancellor. Petra thinks about the different skin tones of those who boarded the ship.
