Chapter Fourteen Summary
They stand by Aslan on his right side and look through the open doorway. The bonfire has gone out and the earth was blackness. When Aslan roars again, they see another black shape and it became the shape of a man. Jill and Eustace remember that there is a deep cave beneath the moors where there is a sleeping giant called Father Time. He would wake on the day that the world ended.
Aslan says "Yes" even though they did not speak.
The great giant raises a horn to his mouth and it has a high and terrible sound with a strange and deadly beauty.
