Chapter Five Summary
Soon, two children were standing in front of the king out of nowhere and he notices that they were wearing the same clothes as the people in his dream. They were the youngest of the party. The Boy cuts the bonds with a knife and Tirian falls forwards on his hands and knees.
The children say it had been a week since Tirian was in their world, but Tirian said it was only ten minutes. The passing of time is different between the two worlds. The girl explains that they have come to help him.
Tirian leads them away from the stable to rocky places to avoid leaving a trail and then to water where they could not leave a scent. Tirian feels dizzy from the wonder of walking beside creatures from another world. The old stories become more real than...
