Chapter Four Summary
The King was dizzy from being knocked down and hardly knew what was happening. The Calormenes tie him to an ash tree and bind him with ropes. Tirian can hear the voices of the crowd and the Ape, then he wonders what they did with Jewel. Beasts pass and they look at him with fear, but nobody speaks and a silence falls in the wood.
Hours pass and Tirian becomes tired, hungry, cold and sore. In the dark, Mice, Rabbit, and Moles go to him. They are afraid of Aslan, but they bring him food and drink. They discuss whether they think it really is Aslan and if it is him killing the Wood Nymphs and making them slaves to the King of Calormen.
