Summary

In Chapter 61, Grace continues her walk with Jake up to Kingfisher Lookout. She talks to Jake as they go and is pleased when he chuckles. When they reach their destination, she lays him on a blanket and he laughs again at something she says. It's at that moment that Grace feels a shot of joyful love for her child.

In Chapter 62, Sophie watches Eddie walking up the footpath to her house. She wonders why it wouldn't be ok for the two of them to have a child since they both want that so desperately.
