Summary

Aquila is in Uroconium looking for work. He had been traveling throughout Britain during the past several months. There are things to steal in the shops yet the town has avoided a Saxon raid. Eugenus the Physician overhears Aquila talking to himself about the Saxons. He offers Aquila money for dinner. He will take it only if he can earn it.
