The Bed and Breakfast

The bed and breakfast in Bath is where most of the story takes place. At first, Billy is hesitant to enter, but an unstoppable force attracts him. In the bed and breakfast, Billy learns about the peculiar landlady who owns the establishment. Moreover, Billy notices some names on the guest list. Billy recognizes the names, but he cannot remember where he had heard them before.

The Train

The train to Bath is where the story begins. However, very few events occur before the story progresses past this setting. On the train, Billy asks the porter where he could stay during his time in Bath, and he learns about the Bell and Dragon.
