Summary

Billy remarked that he was surprised the bed and breakfast was not overcrowded. The landlady responded, telling Billy that she was extremely particular about whom she accepted into her establishment. She ensured that the establishment was prepared for visitors in case a perfect customer like Billy arrived.

The landlady told Billy that the first floor was where she resided, and the entire second floor belonged to Billy.
