Point of View
The point of view of The Kiss Quotient is told exclusively through a third person omniscient narrator. The narrator follows both of the main characters, 30 year old Stella and 28 year old Michael as they explore a “fake” relationship with one another. By presenting both of their thoughts and emotions, the reader is able to gain a more well- rounded viewpoint and understand more clearly the misunderstandings that occur between the two characters. The narrator focuses on both of their insecurities and investigates how this affects their perception of each other and their relationship to each other.
