Chapter Eleven Summary

Sarah and Monty are off running when they see a car coming down their drive. Monty is excited and thinks the child is returning. They go down and find Logan. Logan talks to Sarah and she still refuses to take the job. He tells her that Madden will call and they should talk before he does. Madden does call and it seems he can force Sarah to work for Logan. Madden doesn't want to make Logan mad. It seems he is counting on Logan's helping in his political career. Sarah tells Monty that she is sorry. Logan leaves a file folder on Eve Duncan for Sarah to read.
