Chapter Seven Summary

Chapter Eight begins with Joe, Eve, and Mark visiting Jane's home. Fay says she will talk to Spiro, but she isn't convinced that Jane is the one Dom has targeted. Fay does tell them where Jane goes to school and when she will be out of school. She knows that there will be guards standing by. She refuses to allow them to talk to Jane.

Joe and Eve contact Spiro only to learn that he can't get to Atlanta until nine that evening. They have found another body at the Falls. Spiro tries to send Charlie but Joe tells him that Charlie has about as much presence as one of Fay's foster kids. Joe continues to be angry that Spiro puts catching Dom above protecting Eve.

Eve and Joe are waiting at the school when Jane comes out. Eve hasn't looked...
