Chapter Four Summary

Chapter Four opens with Eve and Joe back at the cottage. Joe tells Eve to sleep and Joe goes to make more arrangements. The next day, Eve hasn't slept well and probably wouldn't eat if Joe didn't insist. Eve demands the boy's head to sculpt. Joe tells Eve about his deal with the newsman, Mark Grunard. Eve agrees to interviews with him since he will keep the reporters away for the moment. Spiro shows up at the cottage to talk to Eve about the tip about the boys and everything the man said. While he is there, Dom calls. Spiro is able to listen in on the kitchen phone. The cottage phones are not bugged yet because Atlanta doesn't want the case.
