Pencil

Darwin uses an unsharpened pencil as a weapon in Termini Station because he has a phobia that causes him to become enraged when he sees or touches sharp objects.

Paul's Gun

Darwin gets a crash course on using a gun when he takes Paul's gun from him and Paul makes fun of him for not knowing how to turn off the safety. Darwin puts this knowledge to good use when he kills three of Fuccini's men in the stairwell of the Fuccini office building.

Knives

Darwin has a phobia of sharp items and he Darwin sees them, he becomes enraged. To help Darwin fight Fuccini's men, he asks them to show him a knife. Later, when being attacked in his new Florida home, Rosina knocks over a knife block to purposely enrage Darwin so that he will attack their attackers.
