July: Chs. 12 - 14. Summary
Chapter 12 starts off with May's list of family vacations where the girls would throw up or fight while traveling in the Firebird.
The four Gold women are getting ready to leave in the RV. Palmer isn't happy with her bed, but May and Brooks had already claimed their spots. Mrs. Gold tells the girls that if they put a little water, a ball and clothes in a bag and hang it off of the back of the RV it will work as a washing machine. As they buckle in for the drive, May is pretty sure her mother has lost it.
