Part Two, Clues: Chapters 42-44 Summary
Chelgrin gets a phone call telling him where and when to meet a secret contact. Chelgrin takes a great deal of caution, aware that if he is recognized by someone he will have to reschedule this meeting. As a possible candidate for the Presidency, Chelgrin has a highly-recognizable face; however, no one notices him this night. Chelgrin is picked up by a driver whose name he does not know and is taken to another parking lot where he gets into a car with his contact. Chelgrin's contact, Anson Peterson, is a large, unpleasant man who is Chelgrin's only contact with his only child, Lisa.
