Summary

“Men at War” - The first part of this chapter begins with a description of the challenges and choices related to the different sorts of opportunities and lifestyles between urban life in Lagos and rural life in other parts of Nigeria. Narration describes how, on the day that Nnaife did not return from work, he and several of his work-mates were taken by soldiers and forced to join the army.
