Adeline "Addie" LaRue
Addie Larue was born in the 17th century in Villon-sur-Sarthe, France. As a child, she is very curious about the outside world. She longs to escape the village and experience city life. Addie grows up under the tutelage of the village elder Estele, who teaches her all about the old gods.
At the age of 23, Addie gets engaged to a kind villager named Roger, at her parent’s behest. Addie has no desire to be married to anyone.
