Pink Sticky

These pink sticky tabs indicate that a child is expendable. Children who did not have a high BDNF level were indicated with a pink sticky note on their file. These children got extra tests and extra shots as part of Hendricks’ research to see if a child with one psychic ability could develop another or if these abilities could be made stronger.

Tokens

Tokens are symbols of cooperation. Children who behaved and cooperated with what the doctors and caretakers asked them to do at the Institute were rewarded with tokens. These tokens could be used to buy cigarettes, alcohol, snacks, or access the Internet.
