Summary
In Chapter 15, Sigsby confronted Stackhouse about the condition of the cameras that watched over the residence halls. She said the condition was unacceptable because it was fuzzy, jittery, and often interrupted by static. Stackhouse reminded her that the infrastructure needed major work, with the last major renovation taking place 40 years prior. Sigsby said that she had something more low-tech in mind, like cleaning the cameras.
As Sigsby and Stackhouse watched the video they saw Luke and Avery walking with Maureen. Even though Maureen told them the microphone was not working there, Sigsby and Stackhouse were able to hear what they were saying. Sigsby noticed Avery doing a good deal of scratching and pulling at his nose. Luke, meanwhile, asked Maureen if she knew what had really happened to Harry and the twin girls.
