Summary
Scene Four is set two days after Christmas, as Henry shows Eric an apartment that he owns, and which Eric can rent for a relatively small amount. Eric agrees, but then Henry says that because he has gotten used to spending time with Eric, he wants Eric to accompany him to Paris for four months. Eric is tempted, but feels he cannot go because of work – which, he says, is going to be very busy in the aftermath of the election of Donald Trump, and the need to protest that election. Eventually, though, he decides to go, and moves his things into the apartment offered by Henry. He then meets with Toby at the old apartment to give Toby his things.
