Summary
When Dr. Claire returns in Chapter 56, she allows Ringer to shower, and afterwards when Vosch questions the reason for her angry outbursts, Ringer tells him she needed to prove to herself that she is alive. Ringer refuses to be manipulated to help him, but Vosch shows her an image of a child bomb, used because of mankind's instinct to protect the young. When Ringer points out that dropping a bomb would be just as effective, he insists that it has never been about the dead. As Dr. Claire and Razor enter with a cart filled with syringes, Ringer says she would rather die than help Vosch, but he insists that she is not helping him.
