Summary

Ringer recalls Cassie telling her how she felt bad about killing a solider in Chapter 5, but Ringer insisted that Cassie only felt bad to assuage her guilt since she had no other choice. After shooting the advancing person, Ringer is appalled to find Teacup, and despite her anger at being followed, she tends the girl's wounds. She hears someone else approaching, and knowing they cannot flee, she realizes the only logical, though unthinkable, option is to leave Teacup; however, Ringer holds her friend in her arms because they win if she decides one person does not matter.

Laying Teacup on the ground in Chapter 6, Ringer struggles to maintain composure. She hears choppers and cannot allow Teacup to be taken to Wonderland so she draws her sidearm and aims at the girl's head.
