Summary

Part Four begins with a quote saying that maybe life is a zigzag. In the chapter titled "(Dad) Things we Never Say (Me)," Sal says that he and his father talk a lot, but they still do not talk about everything. One afternoon Sal talks with his father about the hazards of smoking. Then they talk about why they do not have a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Sal blames himself for Vicente not having a boyfriend.
