Summary
In Chapter Thirteen, Felicity calls Tess. She moans about how terrible she and Will feel. She tries to chat with Tess like old times but makes Tess mad when she remembers Connor as being sinister. In the end of the conversation, Tess tells Felicity to have her affair with Will and get it out of her system. She won’t allow her to break up her marriage for Liam’s sake, Tess says.
In a flashback to 1977, Mary and Lucy both see on the news three teens are killed during protests about the Berlin Wall. The deaths make them cry. They agree they are having boys and hope they will be best friends. Lucy, however, says they’ll more than likely not like each other.
